Egyptian Foot Soak
Start any of your spa treatments with a complimentary Egyptian foot soak. Immerse your feet in a hand hammered copper bowl filled with sudsy, warm, lemon water and let the stress and toxins melt away. Additionally, copper is known to help ease arthritis pain and kill bacteria. A trace element of copper will be absorbed through your feet benefitting your whole body.

CUSTOMIZED THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
A massage that has been personalized for the client with the intention of meeting the client's goals for pain relief, stress reduction, relaxation, flexibility, and/or improved athletic performance. Following a brief interview and reviewing your health consent form, your treatment goals will be determined together with you and your therapist. We take pride in using only the safest, purest, highest quality products on your body because we know that your skin is your largest breathing organ. We proudly carry and use Young Living organic essential oils for your therapeutic aromatherapy needs and they are included in your base massage price, as well as our spa quality warm towel treatments. Want to begin your treatment with a therapeutic foot soak? Just ask your therapist because this is ALL included in your base massage price.
Rejuvenating Facial Massage W/LED
Experience the beautifying and revitalizing benefits of LED light therapy for the face and décolletage. After removing all make-up, dirt, and oils from your skin with our warm spa towels and famous award winning skin care line, Rodan & Fields, we will let you lie back and enjoy the relaxing and renewing benefits of LED light therapy while soft music and your choice of aroma therapy is diffused in the room filling your senses and deepening your relaxation. Once the LED session has ended (20 minutes) your therapist will apply the remaining skin care protocol while performing a lymphatic drainage massage on your face reducing puffiness and working out and restoring your facial muscles. This is very anti-aging. Keeping the muscles of your face toned is just as important as toning your body.
PRENATAL MASSAGE
Pregnancy massage is available to women 12 weeks and beyond with medical clearance from their OB/GYN provided they are NOT high risk. The massage is done side line on a massage table by a caring, experienced, qualified therapist and is very beneficial to the mother and her baby. It provides relaxation, eases back pain and sciatica, boosts endorphins, and is as beneficial as daily exercise to your overall wellness.
THAI MASSAGE
(This art is done with your clothing on.)
Thai Massage involves a unique blend of acupressure, stretching, applied yoga, breath work, and massage therapy. Often referred to as lazy man's yoga because the client receives all of the benefits of a yoga session, while lying passively on a comfortable floor mat wearing yoga or fitness wear. (This massage would not be appropriate for someone with serious mobility issues or injuries, however, a fitness novice in good health or someone experienced with yoga is ideal as this is a very active massage requiring the client's participation and ability.)
LED LIGHT THERAPY
This treatment is the placement of an LED Therapy pad directly on an area. This treatment can be beneficial for pain management, skin conditions, cosmetic results, as well as an overall mood boosting wellness therapy. Its results are cumulative and most significant when used regularly so LED Light Therapy is offered at a discounted rate when purchased as a series.
INFRARED TABLE SAUNA
This private Solo~Sauna is sure to be a favorite for so many reasons. For a healthier, happier you, surround your body with the proven effects of Solo carbon far infrared technology. The infrared heater warms up your body at the core rather than on the skin's surface. This technology has been proven to relieve pain, lower blood pressure, rid the body of toxins, and aid in weight loss. In fact most people will burn about 800 calories in a 30-45 minute session!! Additionally, you will also have the option of the built in LED chromotherapy lights. Color Therapy dates back to ancient times and is said to improve or eradicate a variety of maladies including SAD (seasonal affective disorder). This amazing treatment is especially suited for those of us here in the Midwest where we suffer extreme cold and sunlight deprivation. This treatment is also available at a discounted rate when purchased as a monthly series.
VIBRATIONAL SOUND THERAPY
(This is a perfect session for someone who prefers to be clothed. You will only remove your shoes and possibly your jewelry. Then you will relax on a Thai futon or massage table and your therapist can offer you a blanket if you desire.)
This is the ancient art of using the sound and placement of various sized bowls on and around the body to bring about balance, deepen meditation, reduce pain and facilitate healing. Our Himalayan bowls are hand hammered virgin metal so that not just their sound but the metal as well, carries therapeutic benefits. For example the copper is well known to alleviate the discomfort of arthritis pain and it is also beneficial to supporting the collagen in our skin. The weight and vibration of the bowl can be felt deep into the physical body as well as the psyche/spirit. Additionally the practitioner may include various other sounds such as wind chimes, crystal bowls, and/or a rain stick. This makes for an interesting and deepening spiritual art if the recipient is seeking to reach the next level in their meditation practice.
REIKI
Reiki is a spiritual Japanese healing modality that is a hands-on practice with therapeutic benefits, however, it is not massage, it is energy work. That means that the therapist sets an intention or prayer with the recipient before the session begins and the remainder of the time is spent in silence. The therapist usually begins at the head and gently cradles the head for several minutes and continues through a protocol of hand placements on many energy centers of the entire body. It's non-invasive and gentle. It's not unusual to feel temperature changes in the therapist's hands ranging from hot to cold depending on what is needed. This is truly a metaphysical and faith based practice in so far as the belief/foundation it is built upon is universal energy, prana, chi, life force, or whatever name you comfortably use to connect with the light of the universe that is beyond our vocabulary and comprehension. It's been called miraculous, peaceful, meditative, healing, and pure love. It is one of the rare modalities that is safe for people who are receiving cancer treatments or trauma survivors. But it's appropriate for anyone who has the desire to connect with something greater than themselves and feel the peace and calm of infinite love and are open to healing on a physical as well as spiritual level.
Strong & Lean Fitness Package
This is a fat burning, strength building, and detoxification plan which is intended to help people shed unwanted pounds, restore muscle, and protect and increase bone density. First the client is guided through a 10 minute workout on a state of the art oscillation vibration board. This NASA studied modality is said to deliver in 10 minutes the equivalent of 60 minutes of the same exercise without the board. The vibration board is also therapeutic in nature because it uses oscillation instead of just vibration as some of the more industrial equipment of the past. This gentler approach eases muscle tension and actually relaxes muscles after their initial contraction all the while helping your body's lymphatic system clean and detoxify your blood. When your 10 minute session on the board is finished you spend the next 30-45 minutes in our infrared sauna further sweating out the toxins and burning an astounding 800 calories!! You are encouraged to take before and after pics so that you can see your progress each month. The recommended protocol is 3x per week or every other day and a monthly package is available.

ULTRASONIC CAVITATION & RF SKIN LIFTING, SLIMMING, AND TIGHTENING
Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment that uses low frequency sound waves to flush fat from the body. This safe and simple process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells beneath the skin's surface and the pressure eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the bloodstream, via the lymphatic system, where they will later be excreted out through the sweat and urine. RF stands for radio frequency and this is useful in tightening the skin on the body and face post weight loss or simply to look uplifted and rejuvenated.
Proponents of this treatment regimen claim to see measurable results from the first treatment, however, for significant results it is advised to do a series of 10 sessions. It is advisable to wait at least 3 days between treatments, to arrive hydrated and continue to drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day of treatment and the days that follow. Avoid caffeine 3 hours before treatment, and do some cardio post treatment to encourage your lymphatic system. This treatment can be combined with the Strong & Lean Package for optimal results in weight loss and detoxification.

Kathleen Holden LMT. Graduated from Northern Prairie School of Massage & Bodywork in Sycamore, Il. in 2001. She then went on to complete a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program at The Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, Il. in 2002. She has had a thriving private massage practice since she moved to Naperville, Il. in 2004. Additionally, she became a Certified Life Coach in 2012 and has made it her life's mission to continue to learn, grow, and share any and everything she can that will make your life, your spirit, and our planet a healthier place. Now after all these years her vision has grown from a small private practice to a full fledged wellness spa that caters to comfort and luxury as well as scientifically proven, results driven, NASA inspired modalities to improve health, beauty, weight loss, athletic performance, and inner peace. She has a deep love and respect not just for the healing arts but all of the arts. She was involved in theater in her youth and has a love of writing and poetry. Her mother who died of cancer in 1997 was an artist and her inspiration to study alternative & integrative forms of healing. Now that her vision has become a reality she hopes to nourish a tribe of like minded souls and seekers who recognize art as therapy too.
